COMPETITION FORMAT
General Information

24 teams were included in the Drawing of Lots in Luxembourg (LUX) on the 14th June 2017 for the 2018 edition of the CEV Volleyball Cup – Men.

20 of these were directly qualified to the 1/16 Finals.

4 teams compete in the 1/32 Finals with 4 losers coming from the 2nd Round of the CEV Volleyball Champions League.

The teams will play against each other in Home and Away matches. The winners compete in the 1/16 Finals with the 20 seeded teams and the 8 remaining teams coming from the 3rd round of the CEV Volleyball Champions League.

Winners progress each time to the next round of the competition.

As last season, there will be no connection between the CEV Volleyball Cup and CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup.
