Ziraat Bankasi still hopeful they can seize #CEVCupM title before home crowd
2018 CEV Volleyball Cup - Men

Ankara, Turkey, April 9, 2018. Ziraat Bankasi ANKARA will be hosting on Tuesday night the final ‘act’ of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men with the hosts hoping to use the home-court advantage in an effort to bounce back from the heavy 0-3 loss they suffered last week to Belogorie BELGOROD in Russia.

“We have played many tough matches to make it this far in this competition and now we are playing the final, where we fight against a strong rival,” said Ziraat Bankasi head coach Joshko Milenkoski. “The first match did not go the way we wanted but we still have a chance at winning the cup. We have one more match to play and our fans have never left us alone even in the CEV Cup. We need their full support for this match too. We want to go for the Golden Set and lift the trophy with the help of our fans.”

Ulas Kiyak, team captain of Ziraat Bankasi: “We have a roster including many ‘fighters’ and high-quality players, so we have enough power to beat our rivals from Russia. We are optimistic ahead of this match even though the first one did not go the way we wanted. We will do our best in order to take this fixture to a Golden Set.”
