Mission accomplished for Bulgaria
2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Men

Prague, Czech Republic, September 12, 2011. Germany is out of contention for a spot in the next phase of the EuroVolley 2011 after losing this afternoon a third consecutive game, this time to Bulgaria. Germany was able to play well only in the second set, where Bulgaria was not fully focused and started making some silly mistakes.

The third set was a very close affair but Kaziyski & Co. changed gear for the final rush and after that this excellent tempo was stretched also to set 4 to wrap it up with a 3:1.

“We started pretty well but we gradually lost our focus. Our performance in the third set was not good and I can only wish all the best to Bulgaria for the remainder of the tournament” said the head coach of team Germany, Argentinean-born Raul Lozano.

“I am glad that we took this game. We came here to play good Volleyball and we did so today” stated Bulgaria’s mentor Radostin Stoytchev.
