Belogorie and Ziraat Bankasi hope to redeem themselves in #CEVCupM Finals
2018 CEV Volleyball Cup - Men

Belgorod, Russia, April 3, 2018. Belogorie BELGOROD of Russia are hosting Turkey’s Ziraat Bankasi ANKARA for the first round of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men Finals taking place on Tuesday night at Sports Palace Cosmos – starting at 19:00 local time.

There is much at stake for Belogorie and Ziraat Bankasi after these teams lost in the quarterfinal Playoffs of their respective national leagues and therefore have to be content with fighting for places 5 to 8. This is definitely not the kind of results, which the management, sponsors and fans expected from these teams this season.

The CEV Cup Finals are their only chance to finish this campaign with a trophy / title. These teams are obviously tired from a long season, as they have been travelling extensively all year this far. However, both the Russian ‘Lions’ and Ziraat Bankasi will be fighting with everything they have in order to finish the season on a high note. Belogorie last won the CEV Cup in 2009 in Athens, with Panathinaikos hosting the Final Four back then.
