General Information

12 National Federations have entered the 2015 CEV Volleyball European League - Men.


League Round

The 12 participating National Federations were split into two Pools using the serpentine system, according to the CEV European Ranking (as at 25-09-2014). 

POOL A: POL, MKD, EST, AUT, DEN, ISR,
POOL B: SLO, TUR, GRE, BLR, CRO, ROU,

Both of these pools will play a single round robin (2 legs at Home and 2 legs Away), playing two matches in each leg.  There will be a total of 30 matches per pool.


Final Round

Following the League Round, the Men’s Final Phase will be ran via a Final Four with 3 qualified teams, plus the appointed organiser.

QUALIFICATION AND FORMAT

Teams will qualify to the Final Phase as per Chapter 1, Article 1.5.2 in the Official Regulations:

"The 1st placed team of each pool and the best 2nd placed team with the best score will qualify for the Final Phase, with the organiser.

Note: If the organiser is the 1st place team in its pool, the other 1st placed team and the two 2nd placed teams will qualify.  If the organiser is the 2nd placed team in its pool, both 1st placed teams and the 2nd placed team from the other pool qualifies."

COMPETITION DATES

The Men's Final Four will take place on Thursday August 13th and Friday August 14th in the city of Walbrzych, Poland.

World League Qualification

The winners of the 2015 European League are automatically granted a spot in the next edition of the FIVB World League (Men) or FIVB World Grand Prix (Women), directly replacing the lowest placed European team (assuming that the qualifying team can fulfil all of the requirements set out by the FIVB).
