Youth Beach Volleyball Coaching workshop coming up this weekend in Brno
News from the CEV
Brno, Czech Republic, August 12, 2016. A CEV Youth Beach Volleyball Coaching Workshop will be taking place later this weekend in Brno right by the time the 2016 edition of the CEV U18 Beach Volleyball European Championship reaches its climax in the second largest city of the Czech Republic. The workshop is part of a long-term Youth Development Project initiated by the CEV and supported by the FIVB.
The workshop will gather coaches from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland, Kosovo, Hungary, Montenegro and Scotland on top of those already on site with their respective teams competing at the U18 European Championship.
The panel of lecturers includes the likes of European Beach Volleyball Commission (EBVC) member Denise Austin of England, Australian-born Victor Anfiloff – who has been based in the Netherlands and running their Beach Volleyball programme for a number of years – and Italy’s Marco Solustri, a real Beach Volleyball pioneer who has successfully worked with a wide range of national teams and fostered their growth and development at all levels.
The workshop has been designed specifically for coaches working with young players, and no better place could be chosen for the delivery of this clinic as Europe’s rising stars are battling for glory in Brno where the eventual continental champions will be crowned on Sunday, August 14.
