For the first time in history, Sweden is hosting a CEV Satellite tournament for women. The event will be held in Mellbystrand, Laholm, at Sweden's longest sand beach. It is a beautiful place for tourists and absolutely ideal for beach volleyball. Last year the national tournament "Back to the Beach Tour" was held at the venue and the potential was seen to take the tournament to international standards this year. The Swedish top teams will be there of course, to fight for the medals and gain great experience. The host knows the importance of bringing an international event to their country, to help develop the sport and engage people. We look forward to putting Laholm on the map!
