It is time to present one of the teams that are set to make the headlines and highlight the 2016 CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour! Italy’s Beach Volleyball stars @Greta Cicolari and Giulia Toti will take part in the Tour! Do their names sound familiar to you? These two girls are both among the best Beach Volleyball players in their native Italy, and reached last year’s finals in Kronplatz / Plan de Corones playing against each other. In 2016 they will join forces to compose @Team NUTRILITE Europe and will cast a chill on other fearless opponents! Let’s look deeper into their individual personal profiles! Greta Cicolari started her career as a Volleyball player in 1997 and worked her way up to the major A1 national league. Since 2009 she has devoted herself completely to Beach Volleyball. Among a number of achievements in the sport, one may single out the gold medal she claimed at the 2011 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship in Kristiansand, Norway and her fifth place from the 2012 London Olympic Games. Greta Cicolari is also the reigning Italian Beach Volleyball champion, after last year she won this title in partnership with Giulia Momoli. Greta is strongly determined to add more honours to her collection of achievements in the near future. Giulia Toti started her career in the B1 and B2 leagues, which are the springboard for the kind of Volleyball that ‘counts’. In 2009 the call of the beach became too strong to be ignored and brought Giulia to the fore of the Italian and international championships. From 2011 Toti has been a member of the Italian national team, thereby confirming herself as one of the top Italian players. 2015 was the year of her greatest achievements: she was first crowned Italian indoor champion and finished in fourth place at the Baku 2015 European Games before winning a silver medal at the Mediterranean Beach Games in Pescara.
