Snow Volleyball European champions re-unite for Turkish stop
CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour 2019 - Erciyes
Luxembourg, December 29, 2018. Reigning Snow Volleyball European champions Ruslan Daianov and Taras Myskiv will re-unite for the first time since their gold-medal winning performance earlier this year in Austria to compete at the second stop of the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour 2019 in Erciyes. The Turkish ski resort in the Kayseri area will be playing host to such an event for the third straight year, with the tournament featuring 30 teams and running from January 11 to 13, 2019. TRT will broadcast the women’s and men’s gold medal matches nationwide, with live streaming available on EuroVolleyTV as well for fans from across the globe!
After the introduction of the 3-aside-rule, Daianov and Myskiv this time will play alongside a Russian young, talented Beach Volleyball player, Aleksandr Kramarenko, and try to claim their second straight gold medal in Erciyes, after standing on top of the podium in January 2018.
The silver and bronze medal winners from the season opener in Moscow will compete on Turkish snow as well. Vitaly Shabalin, Nikolay Polikarpov, Viktor Markov and Adel Kayumov from Kazan, Russia, were the surprise package in Moscow where they only lost in the final to another Russian team featuring Beach Volleyball superstar Konstantin Semenov.

Another Russian team, Pavel Rakusov/Yury Bogatov/Nikita Kuzmin/Petr Bakhnar, will be chasing their second straight podium after finishing third in Moscow.
Turkey’s hopes for home success will rely on Dundar Yildirim and Emirhan Ulutas, who last year lost the final to Daianov and Myskiv, and this time will be playing together with Ali Cebeci and Ersin Durgut.
A total of 17 men’s teams from six countries – Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey – will compete in Erciyes.
