Plan de Corones / Kronplatz, Italy, March 16, 2018. The iconic location of the Italian Dolomites is ready to host the 6th and ultimate stop of the 2018 CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour this weekend. The reward for the winners is worth fighting for as along with the Gold medals, they will become the very last additions onto the entry lists for the inaugural European Championship next weekend.
The last spot per gender for the 2018 CEV Snow Volleyball European Championship will be allocated to the team coming out on top of the podium, or if the winner is already qualified through another tour stop or National Championship, or is not eligible due to the country quota limitations, the 2nd placed team will qualify. If the team finishing second is already qualified or is not eligible, the spot will be allocated through the European Tour Ranking as of 12 March 2018.
Although the matches start tomorrow, the first enthusiasts have already experienced Snow Volleyball at an altitude of 2,275 m in front of famous Kronplatz Bell earlier today with 60 kids enjoying their first Snow Volleyball practice in diverse weather conditions.
