Snow Volleyball fever mounts in Turkey ahead of historic European Tour events

Istanbul, Turkey, February 9, 2017. A media meeting took place on Thursday in Istanbul to introduce the two stops of the 2017 CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour coming up soon in Turkey, with Erciyes and Uludag set to play host to two international events later this month and in early March, respectively.
The media meeting took place at the Volley Hotel in Istanbul, with Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) Vice President Alper Sedat Aslandas addressing the media together with TVF Beach Volleyball Board Coordinator, Mr Soner Erdogmus. The CEO of Kayseri Erciyes A.S., Dr Murad Cahid Cingi, and the CEO of Teleferik A.S., Mr Ilker Cumbul, represented the local Organising Committees of the two Tour stops.
Turkey’s Beach Volleyball – and now Snow Volleyball players as well – Aleyna Vende and Murat Giginoglu did also attend the meeting. They are both set to compete at the first stop of the European Tour in Erciyes, with the tournament scheduled for February 18 and 19.

Snow Volleyball, the rules of the game and further information regarding the events in Erdiyes and Uludag were discussed at the meeting.
The 2017 edition of the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour includes as many as seven stops, with Turkey playing host to an international Snow Volleyball competition for the first time in the country’s history.
