Anticipation mounts in Skopje ahead of School Project national workshop
News from the National Federations
Skopje, North Macedonia, March 6, 2021. The Volleyball Federation of North Macedonia will be playing host this weekend to a national workshop organised in conjunction with the Erasmus + funded project “Play Volleyball, grow with it”.
A preparatory meeting took place in the Macedonian capital ahead of the actual workshop, which is due to involve a large number of coaches and physical education teachers from across the Balkan country. The ‘Boris Trajkovski’ sports hall will be playing host to the clinic – a very special place for the Macedonian Volleyball family since this is the venue where the national teams are contesting their international matches.
Sanja Nikcevic (Project Manager), Ema Terzievska and Goran Janevic (Coaches Coordinators) attended the meeting together with CEV’s Head of Development and Project Manager Vuk Karanovic and Kristof De Loose, a renowned Belgian coach who is due to lead the workshop at the weekend. The meeting aimed at planning, finalising and coordinating the activities scheduled for the weekend.
The organisers expect as many as 86 coaches and physical education teachers to attend along with young players from the Volleyball clubs Janta Volley and Forza Volley, who will help Kristof De Loose deliver the practical session and a large set of exercises specifically designed to work with youngsters at the entry level of the game.
