Earvin Ngapeth the Top Performer of Pool C – Tournament 2

Coach Vladimir Alekno’s Zenit Kazan did not feel its pool C leader position threatened at any time during the Round 4 matches, with solid performances across the board and only dropping two sets along the way.

As always, a reliable performant in the Russian side was French star Earvin Ngapeth, who despite only playing one of the two matches of this tournament, his performance against Berlin Recycling Volleys was absolutely electric, managing 15 points and an incredible overall 64% (38/59) attacking efficiency in a 3-0 win.

With only 3 matches played in the 4th Round of Europe’s premiere club competition, Earvin Ngapeth managed a total of 44 pts, which puts him well in the top 50 scorers of the round.

The 29-year-old Outside Hitter has had an incredible career so far with both club and country, winning medals in all the leagues he has taken part in. While Zenit Kazan will be looking to win their 7th Champions League Trophy, Earvin will be looking to win his first gold, something that has escaped him twice before, with finals lost in 2013 and 2019.
