All you need to know about the Champions League DOL coming up tomorrow!

Luxembourg, February 11, 2021. With the last matches in the men’s competition due to follow later this afternoon and evening, Volleyball fans as well as media from across the globe have already started counting the hours to the Drawing of Lots for the CEV Champions League Volley 2021 quarterfinals coming up on Friday at 12 CET. You will be able to follow the DOL live on the CEV’s official YouTube channel as well as on the CEV Champions League Facebook page.
Live from the home of European Volleyball in Luxembourg, the top eight teams from the group stage will know their fate in this elite competition, with the best four pool winners enjoying the privilege of playing the second quarterfinal game on home soil.
The procedure for the DOL remains the same as in previous years, with a free draw and the only exception to this general principle the fact that two teams progressing from the same pool in the group stage will not be playing each other in the quarterfinal stage. After the CEV adjusted the competition format for the pool phase to the challenges brought by the coronavirus pandemic and the associated travel restrictions, and more specifically through the introduction of ‘bio-secure bubbles’, the Champions League Volley will continue with home and away matches in the quarterfinals as well as in the semis.
The season will be reaching its climax on May 1, with the second edition of the Super Finals, where two winner-takes-all matches will be taking place at the same venue, with the eventual winners securing a record-breaking € 500,000 check and the coveted title of ‘Kings and Queens of European Volleyball’.
