Therefore, Sebastijan Skorc’s team cemented their leadership in the current standing after improving their points to 26 on an 8-3 win-loss record, while the Croatians suffered their second loss in three MEVZA League matches they have contested this season so far.
MARIBOR’s Rok Mozic top scored on a personal tally of 22 points, while ZAGREB’s Sandro Dukic managed to put 13 to his name. Match analysis: spikes 51 vs 37, aces 8 vs 4, winning blocks 7 vs 6 and opponent errors 32 vs 35.
Already on Thursday night, Mladost ZAGREB will be facing SK Zadruga AICH/DOB (AUT) at Bleiburg. Mladost are playing a number of matches they were due to contest earlier in the season when some of their players caught the novel coronavirus, with this resulting in the postponement of a number of their fixtures.
