News from the clubs
Istanbul, Turkey, January 20, 2021. On Tuesday, Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL announced they have reached an agreement with their current head coach Zoran Terzic, who has been at the helm of the team since the 2018-2019 season, to continue their cooperation for another three years.
Terzic is currently pursuing success with Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL in the Turkish national league as well as in the elite CEV Champions League Volley. The two parties have agreed to extend their cooperation for another three years in order to achieve further success and claim as many trophies as possible to add to Fenerbahce’s already rich cabinet.
Apart from coaching Fenerbahce, Terzic is leading the Serbian national team as well. Under his tenure, Serbia has claimed as many as three EuroVolley titles in 2011, 2017 and 2019, a historic World Championship gold medal in 2018 and silver from the Rio 2016 Olympics. Back in the summer of 2019, Terzic helped Serbia qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, later postponed to the summer of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Off the court, Terzic is a member of the CEV European Coaches Commission (ECOC) for the 2020-2024 term.
