Luxembourg, December 19, 2020. Italy's Leo Shoes Modena proved to be a force to be reckoned with as the first batch of tournaments came to an end this week in Roeselare, Belgium, the host of the CEV Champions League Volley Men Pool D's first tournament.
Despite having dropped three sets, one against Kuzbass Kemerovo and two against Knack Roeselare, Andrea Giani's team managed an impressive run of three wins out of as many matches to end the first tournament on top of Pool D with 8 points to their name.
With the Italians now set to host the second tournament of the Pool in Modena, 9-11 February, confidence will be high as they will make the final push for a place in the next round of the competition.
