Hanno Pevkur to lead Estonian Volleyball Federation for another four years
News from the National Federations
Tallinn, Estonia, October 26, 2020. Hanno Pevkur will remain at the helm of the Estonian Volleyball Federation (EVF) for another four years. The EVF General Assembly held this past weekend resulted in the election of the following Board of Administration members: Jaano Haidla, Lauri Kasper, Tarmo Keskküla, Tanel Kiik, Indrek Luukas, Rain Sepp, Jaano Vink, and Anneli Ott.
Pevkur has been leading the national organisation since 2012 and following his re-election, he expressed his wish to contribute to the further growth of Estonian Volleyball at all levels. “My first goal is to make sure next summer’s EuroVolley in Tallinn will be organised in the best possible way. Moreover, the plans for the future include the organisation of the women’s EuroVolley as well. To me it is also important to improve youth Volleyball and to make sure that more and more people choose Volleyball as the first recreational sport they play. I plan to contribute at all levels to keep Volleyball the most successful sport in Estonia,” Pevkur said.
“I believe we have a good team to work with for the next years. One big task is to create a new development plan for the federation, which will cover all aspects of Estonian Volleyball,” Pevkur added.
