Luxembourg, August 10, 2020. Around this time last year Tina Graudina and her teammate Anastasija Kravcenoka triumphed at the EuroBeachVolley 2019 held in Moscow, thus becoming the first Latvian team to win European Gold ever since Inguna Minusa and Inese Jursone.

Now, she is preparing to defend her title on home ground, as EuroBeachVolley 2020 is set to debut in the beautiful city of Jurmala, Latvia on 15th September. Until the time comes to see the reigning champions back in action, we invited Tina Graudina to join us on this latest episode of the Ace Space podcast to discuss some of the most important moments of her career, the path to becoming European Champions and more.

Tina Graudina: "2019 is a year that I will remember for the rest of my life! It was a total roller coaster, as I started the year not even being together with my partner Anastasija, we were split up in January, so the whole season seemed very bleak as I was trying to find a partner. But we resolved all our issues, we got back together and that is why all the success that we had at the end of the season was completely out of my imagination. It was a dream come true type of season."
