Volleyball legend John Kessel to open second series of School Project webinars

Luxembourg, August 10, 2020. The second, highly anticipated series of four webinars organised by the CEV Technical and Development Department will start this coming Thursday, August 13, with a real ‘bang’! USA Volleyball legend John Kessel is due to deliver a session that will help inspire coaches, physical education teachers and anyone associated with the sport in their work with children at the entry level of the game. Kessel needs no introduction, since he truly has been a household name in Volleyball for some decades. John is of the pioneers for Volleyball development in the USA, and a big name in coaching from grassroots level up to national team level.
Back in 2013, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) inducted him as their 60th member of the AVCA Coaches Hall of Fame. Next to his work at the grassroots as well as at the elite level, Kessel has published several coaching and youth-focused books already when working with USA Volleyball and was the Director of Development for World ParaVolley (previously known as World Organisation Volleyball for Disabled, WOVD) from 2012 to 2016.
With such a unique, long resume in the volleyball and coaching world, in his own words, John will be sharing “secrets to ways to introduce our sport that give all ages a love of the game for a lifetime.” Make sure you do not miss such an opportunity!
