Tribute to Siniša Kisić, former President of BIH National Federation
News from the National Federations

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, June 11, 2020. The Volleyball family pays tribute to the Vice-President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OKBH) Siniša Kisić, after his death at the age of 66. Kisić, a former Volleyball player, passed away in Brčko after a short but severe illness.

He held several important positions during his sports governance career, including President of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSBiH). Away from sport, he was also the first mayor of Brčko district.

In his competitive career, Kisić represented the Volleyball team of the former Yugoslavia and won a gold medal at the 1975 Mediterranean Games in Algiers, where Yugoslavia emerged victorious from an eight-team tournament, with Italy and France completing the podium.

The European Volleyball community remembers a dear colleague and friend, while extending heartfelt condolences to Mr Kisić’s family.
