“Together we can get over these difficult times” – Melis Durul
News from the clubs

Istanbul, Turkey, April 13, 2020. These weeks we have been catching up with a number of players to see how they deal with the lockdown resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. They all seem to keep their positive energy and have found ways to stay fit and healthy, not only physically, but mentally as well, which is even more important under the current circumstances.

“I start my day by doing meditation. After having breakfast, I drink coffee and read a book. Next, I watch some series,” says Melis Durul, the opposite hitter of Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL from her home in the Turkish megalopolis. “In the afternoon, it is time for a home workout that our fitness coach shares with us, which takes about an hour. I eat dinner and spend some time with my family. During the day, I frequently chat with my friends,” she adds.

Luckily, technology helps a great deal these days in an effort to stay close to your loved ones even in times of confinement and social distancing. “I would suggest our fans and followers to try wood painting or drawing. Please look after yourself, your family and your loved ones and stay home. Keep believing that together we can get over these difficult days,” concludes the 26-year-old.
