The women’s teams have already contested 10 matches, while the same number stands at 18 in the men’s competition. Moreover, to continue with the good cooperation established when the two countries co-hosted the 2017 edition of EuroVolley Women the teams of Georgia are honing their skills in the national league of Azerbaijan as well.
At this stage, Khilasedici top the charts of the men’s league with 15 points, while Azerrail lead the way in the women’s league on a tally of 12 points.
