Snow Volleyball event held at yet another venue of 1984 Winter Olympics

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, February 10, 2020. Snow Volleyball continues to grow at a very fast pace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a second competition in as many weeks hosted by the National Federation of the Balkan country at yet another venue of the 1984 Winter Olympics, Bjelasnica. The so-called ‘R&S Snow Volleyball Tournament’ took place in the very same area that hosted the men’s alpine skiing events in 1984.
The competition featured as many as 12 teams, but the eventual result was far less important than promoting Bjelasnica as an ideal place for socialising, the holding of sports activities and living a healthy lifestyle.
With the help of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the organiser, the company R&S, sounded very satisfied with the delivery of the tournament and thanked the players for their participation as well as the numerous visitors for their support.
The event’s goal was to spread the Olympic values, while promoting Snow Volleyball as well, which is experiencing a steady growth in Europe and across the globe as well.
