Vojvodina and VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN learn more about one another before CL match
News from the clubs
Novi Sad, Serbia, December 10, 2019. Even though they were due to play against each other later in the evening in a much important Champions League fixture, Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD and VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN had the opportunity to exchange their respective experiences before the match in a spirit of true fair play and friendship.
A delegation of VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN including head coach Michael Warm, assistant coach Patrick Steuerwald, CEO Guido Heerstrass, team manager Gesa Osterwald and scoutman Radomir Vemic paid a visit to the headquarters of Vojvodina, finding the time for socialising, talking and learning more about one another, with the hosts reviewing the rich history of the highly successful Serbian club.
President Dragoljub Zbiljic, general manager Nikola Salatic, team manager Slobodan Boskan and members of the local marketing team – Sonja Kruzevic, Tatjana Marovski, Jelena Lukic – were the hosts of this rather informal, yet important meeting.
It was a special visit for VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN scoutman Radomir Vemic, who previously played for Vojvodina – as did his brother Milos. Another familiar face in Novi Sad was Macedonian Volleyball star Nikola Gjorgiev – who spent a few years in the Serbian league and who knows many of the local players and coaches as well.
