Red Lynxes enjoy special training experience ahead of EuroVolley Men
CEV EuroVolley 2019 Men
Madrid, Spain, September 3, 2019. The men’s national team of Spain continue their preparation for the upcoming #EuroVolleyM and on Tuesday morning, the group headed by head coach Fernando Muñoz enjoyed a very different day, away from the court, visiting a virtual reality centre, where the Red Lynxes had an extraordinary and different day of practice.
The Red Lynxes enjoyed several experiences in which they had to work as a team and under pressure to overcome a number of challenges, just as they will have to do these coming weeks at #EuroVolleyM. Spain count down the days to the start of the competition, where they will play in Antwerp and Brussels, alongside home team Belgium, Austria, Germany, Serbia, and Slovakia.
“It is an activity that allows us to break our usual routine. At times like this, close to a major competition, the tension and the feeling of pressure increase, and these activities allow us to lower that without losing sight of the competition ahead,” Muñoz said.
The Red Lynxes enjoyed some of the most advanced and innovative virtual reality experiences, with the ability to immerse the user in unique environments.
Spain continue their training camp in Guadalajara and will have this Friday and Sunday the two last friendly matches against Egypt to finalise their preparations for EuroVolley Men.
