More school pupils introduced to Volleyball in Northern Ireland
News from the National Federations

Belfast, Northern Ireland, May 31, 2019. These are exciting news as more children in Northern Ireland have enjoyed their own introduction to Volleyball in County Derry (Londonderry). Schools taking part in the CEV School Project are now preparing for the Mini Volleyball festival that will take place in Coleraine Leisure Centre on June 12, 2019.

A number of after-school Volleyball sessions took place in Macosquin Primary School (PS) organised by Teacher Paul Grant and in Damhead PS by Teacher Kelli Morrison this week.

Both teachers said that the children enjoyed the new experience and they are looking forward to the competition next month.

NI Volleyball Vice President Joanna McCrory went to both schools to join their sessions and help raise the level of the game.

The best way to describe the atmosphere at after-school activities are Kelli Morrison’s words: “Kids love Volleyball!”
