MULHOUSE long-time head coach Magali Magail to take on management role

Mulhouse, France, April 2, 2019. The Board of Directors of ASPTT MULHOUSE VB and its Executive Board are pleased to announce that they have validated the proposal of their head coach Magali Magail to move to the position of General Manager of the club as of the end of this season.
After as many as 14 years at the helm of the French team, Magail wants to pursue a new chapter of her Volleyball career while continuing to work for the club from Mulhouse.
The management of the club sees this transition as a great opportunity, since the aura of Magali Magail is undoubtedly a major asset for ASPTT MULHOUSE VB in all areas. The club is thus entering a new phase of its development and professional structuring with the aim of maintaining its place at the top of the national arena and playing an increasingly important role on the European scene.
ASPTT MULHOUSE VB represented France in the 2019 edition of the CEV Champions League, losing in the third round to Poland’s Budowlani LODZ. They subsequently moved to the CEV Cup, where they reached the quarterfinals, losing there to eventual #CEVCupW winners Yamamay e-work BUSTO ARSIZIO of Italy.
For now, the whole club will focus on the end of the season and the upcoming playoffs. The process of replacing Magali Magail as the head coach is currently underway.
