Ivan Zaytsev defies the laws of physics!
2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men
Luxembourg, December 14, 2018. We all know Ivan Zaytsev for his power, outstanding personality and energy. Anytime he goes to serve, the receivers standing on the other side of the net could start shaking, as a ‘missile’ is about to come their way!
There was one very cool action involving Zaytsev from the #CLVolleyM Italian derby with Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA that is somehow unique. The ‘Tsar’ went to serve and even though this time around he did not score an ace, the power he put into it was so much that the volleyball did not stop rolling for a couple of seconds after touching the upper band of the net.
There is more such actions to come next week, when the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League resumes with the second leg. Zaytsev and Azimut Leo Shoes MODENA will be hosting Poland’s Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE in one of the most anticipated matches of the week.
