In the semi-finals, PAOK had recorded a 3-2 hard-fought victory (19-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-22, 15-8) in their matchup with Olympiacos PIRAEUS. In the second semi-final, Iraklis were trailing 0-2, but emerged victorious 3-2 (32-34, 17-25, 36-34, 32-30, 15-10) after a match lasting almost three hours.

“We are really happy that we won the Cup. We were not thinking too far away, as we just played rally after rally. Congratulations to my players, as they did an excellent job and they deserved this title. We will now celebrate for a couple of days and after that, we will be preparing for the semi-finals in the Greek championship,” said PAOK coach Daniele Ricci.
