Eczacibasi VitrA cement leadership in Turkish league with big victory over Fenerbahce

Istanbul, Turkey, February 12, 2018. Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL cemented their leadership in the Turkish women’s national league following a 3-1 victory in the highly anticipated derby with Fenerbahce (3-1; 18-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-19).
Despite losing the opening set, Eczacibasi came back strong and swept three in a row to add one more victory to their positive streak, which now encompasses eight matches. Tijana Bošković top scored in the match with 26 points, followed by Jordan Larson and Büsra Kilicli with 12 and 10, respectively.
Eczacibasi, who recently progressed to the quarterfinals of the CEV Cup, top the charts in their national league with 54.710 points.
