Jihostroj set sights on CEV Cup 8th Finals

Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, December 18, 2017. Jihostroj CESKE BUDEJOVICE claimed a 3-2 victory two weeks ago in Israel in their first matchup with Hapoel MATE-ASHER AKKO in the 16th Finals of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men and the Czechs believe they can achieve the same when playing on home soil.
Martin Kryštof, libero of the home team, was injured but he has already joined the group and has started to train again. The coach of Jihostroj CESKE BUDEJOVICE, René Dvořák said: “Hapoel MATE-ASHER AKKO has one of the best defence games I have ever seen. We will have to be ready to deal with this.”
Filip Křesťan, player of Jihostroj: “I hope we will beat Hapoel MATE-ASHER AKKO as we did two weeks ago in Israel. I know we must improve the level of our performance if we want to be successful. We have to serve better than we did in the first match and we must believe in ourselves.”
