Vizura RUMA claim fourth Serbian Supercup crown in history

Ruma, Serbia, October 17, 2017. Vizura RUMA claimed the 2017 edition of the women’s Serbian Supercup after rallying to a compelling 3-0 victory (25-15, 25-22, 25-14) over Jedinstvo STARA PAZOVA in 68 minutes.
Some 600 fans attended the match at the local sports hall in Ruma, where hosts Vizura claimed their fourth Supercup crown in history.
Mr Ivan Knezevic, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia (VFS), Mr Ivan Miljkovic, VFS First Vice-President, Mr Petar Bogunovic, President of the Regional Volleyball Federation of Vojvodina, Mr Slobodan Boskan, President of the Sports Association of Vojvodina followed the match from the stands together with Veljko Petkovic, Andrija Geric and Vasa Mijic, all former national team players and gold medal winners from the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
Mr Ivan Miljkovic, First Vice-President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, presented the winners’ trophy to Sladjana Eric, team captain of Vizura.
Mr Petar Bogunovic, President of the Regional Volleyball Federation of Vojvodina, and Mr Zoran Radojicic, President of the Volleyball Club Vizura, presented the gold medal to the members of the winning team.
Mr Ivan Knezevic, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, presented Emilija Antanasijevic, team captain of Jedinstvo, with the trophy for the runners-up of the competition.
Mr Bogdan Mamuzic, member of the Executive Board of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, and Mr Slobodan Boskan, President of the Sports Association of Vojvodina, presented the silver medals to the players of Jedinstvo STARA PAZOVA.
