The Italian coach of the Hungarian team, Alberto Salomoni stressed that “this match will be special for me, and I also want to prove that Hungarian Volleyball has grown a lot in the last couple of years.”
The Mayor of Békéscsaba Péter Szarvas is very proud that the city can host one of the best teams in the world, and he is sure that the local organisers will be up to task.
Hungarian national team player Edina Dobi, who has returned to play in Hungary after spending 10 years abroad, looks forward to the exciting challenge ahead. She confirmed that the target of the team is not only to repeat the success of the past couple of years, but to improve on it. “I think this team with a lot of work is able to deliver a fantastic season again,” she concluded.
