Galatasaray HDI ISTANBUL two sets away from Challenge Cup quarterfinals

Istanbul, Turkey, February 1, 2017. Galatasaray HDI ISTANBUL visited Portugal’s Fonte Bastardo AZORES two weeks ago for the first round of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Men 8th Finals. It ended in a straight win in three sets for Galatasaray HDI ISTANBUL, as the Turks lived up to their status as pre-favourites of the match.
Now these two teams are getting ready to face each other once more. The visiting team, Fonte Bastardo need first a 3-0 or 3-1 victory and in addition to that, to claim also the Golden Set in order to move on to the next round. The hosts, on the other hand, are only two sets away from the Challenge Cup quarterfinals.
Galatasaray HDI ISTANBUL will be hosting Fonte Bastardo AZORES on Thursday, February 2 at Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall with the match starting at 18:30 local time.
