Moscow, Russia, December 14, 2016. Dinamo MOSCOW will be making on Wednesday night their debut in the 2017 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women playing host to CS Volei Alba BLAJ of Romania. Dinamo have been side-lined by many injuries lately and yet feel ready for their premiere in Europe’s elite club competition this season.
Coach Yury Panchenko said: “There are some problems with the physical condition of some of our players and so our first and primary goal is to make sure that they are back in a more or less good shape. Vera Vetrova is having problems with her back, whereas Anastasia Markova is dealing with a knee injury.”

Recently Dinamo signed Serbian outside spiker Aleksandra Crncevic in order to make up for all these injuries. “Aleksandra has a lot of enthusiasm and she is very motivated to play. This has had a positive effect on our training. She now has to play in order to develop the right chemistry with the team and adjust faster.”
