Jedinstvo STARA PAZOVA claim historic title in women’s Supercup of Serbia

Belgrade, Serbia, November 1, 2016. Jedinstvo STARA PAZOVA recently claimed the first major trophy in their club’s history as they edged Vizura BEOGRAD 3-2 (25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 14-25, 15-7) in the 2016 edition of the women’s Supercup of Serbia held at Vizura sports hall in the country’s capital. As many as 600 fans were in attendance for the matchup opposing Serbia’s reigning national champions, Vizura to the up-and-coming side of Jedinstvo.
Mr Petar Bogunović, Vice-President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and President of the Regional Volleyball Association of Vojvodina, presented Sara Sakradžija, team captain of Jedinstvo STARA PAZOVA, with the winners’ cup; the same player received from Mr Slobodan Milošević, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, the trophy for the winning team.
Mrs Ana Avramović, Vice-President of the Association of First Division Volleyball Clubs, awarded Sladjana Erić, team captain of Vizura, with the trophy for the runners-up.
Mr Dragutin Ćuk, Technical Director in the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, and Mr Zoran Ivović, President of Assembly in the Association of First Division Volleyball Clubs, presented gold and silver medals to the players of the two teams.
Mr Čedomir Nedeljković, Commissioner in the Association of First Division Volleyball Clubs, handed over medals to the match officials, including first and second referees Goran Gradinski and Andjelko Popović.
