Women’s Final Four official website now online, accreditation process open

Montichiari, Italy, March 24, 2016. The official website of the 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women Final Four is now online! Make sure you add www.finalfour2016.it to your bookmarks and you start following the latest news about teams, sponsors, and check a lot of useful information for all those planning to follow the Volleyball party of the year, which will be taking place on April 9-10 at PalaGeorge (pictured) in Montichiari, Italy. This is going to be a must-live experience for all those who love Volleyball and want to see the ‘cream of the crop’ of women’s Volleyball battle for Europe’s most coveted crown!
Following completion of the Playoffs 6 earlier this week, hosts Pomì CASALMAGGIORE – who are making this season their first appearance in the CEV Volleyball Champions League – got to know that in the semis they will be locking horns with Russia’s Dinamo KAZAN, the gold medallists from the 2014 edition, who also have a bronze medal on their resume from the 2012 Finals held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The other semi-final will be an all-Turkish affair starring 2011 and 2013 gold medal winners VakifBank ISTANBUL and Fenerbahce Grundig, with the Yellow Angels returning to the stage of the Final Four for the first time since their gold medal performance from 2012. VakifBank had to settle for silver and bronze in 2014 and 2015, respectively whilst Fenerbahce’s list of honours also includes a silver (2010) and bronze medal (2011).
Journalists and photographers can now start applying for their accreditation to attend the event. All requests have to be dropped only and exclusively via the online registration form (available here). The deadline is set for April 1, 2016. Please note that each request will be checked by the CEV, due to the limited number of press seats available at PalaGeorge. If your application is accepted, a confirmation email will be sent to your address. Please note that any access with filming devices is strictly forbidden to non-rights-holders. All requests are to be submitted exclusively via email at volleyball@thesportsman.de Any request regarding TV and radio booths must be addressed to the rights-holder as well.
On the official website of the Final Four you will also find a lot of useful information on options available for your accommodation, with the possibility to book transfers and excursions to the nearby cities of Cremona, Mantua, Parma, or Lake Garda and some other renowned tourist destinations.
