DHL MODENA set sights on top place in their pool after Polish setback

Modena, Italy, January 25, 2016. Italy’s standout DHL MODENA suffered a surprising setback last week when losing to Poland’s Lotos Trefl GDANSK but they are committed to finishing their campaign in Pool F of the 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women in style when hosting Slovenia’s multiple champions ACH Volley LJUBLJANA on Tuesday night.
The star-studded Italian team are hoping to complete their run in Pool F with a record of five wins in six matches in order to top the final charts and get a more ‘favourable’ draw for the start of the Playoffs.
“We know very well how important this match is,” says DHL MODENA star setter Bruno Rezende. “That is why we have been focussing 100% on it and we are so motivated to deliver a great performance. We definitely want to finish the pool phase in first place and we feel ready for the match with ACH Volley.”
