Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD want to honour last home match
2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Men

Novi Sad, Serbia, January 24, 2016. After losing to ACH Volley LJUBLJANA on Thursday night, Serbia’s Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD have compromised their chances of moving on to the Challenge Round of the CEV Volleyball Cup but they are still determined to cap their participation in the 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League with a solid performance in their last Pool F home match with Poland’s Lotos Trefl GDANSK coming up on Tuesday.

“Poland has one of the strongest European leagues. Our opponent can rely on great players, including one of the world’s best outside spikers, Mateusz Mika, and they are guided by a famous coach, Andrea Anastasi. So, we are very motivated and I believe that it will be a good and interesting match. For our team it’s a great opportunity to test our strength when playing against such a strong rival,” said Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD assistant coach Nedzad Osmankac.

“We missed out on our chances in Ljubljana. In the first part of the match we played well, but after that we fell apart. However, we feel the obligation to show a good performance at home and we hope that our fans will be there to support us. The match against a high-quality team such as Lotos Trefl GDANSK deserves a good atmosphere in the hall,” concluded middle blocker Cedomir Stankovic.
