Danish champions GENTOFTE Volley believe in their chances of doing well in Europe
2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Men
Copenhagen, Denmark, November 6, 2015. The reigning Danish national champions and national cup winners – who are also the current number one in the league – GENTOFTE Volley strongly believe in their chances of moving on to the next round of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup before they play BK TROMSØ from Norway.
GENTOFTE Volley is the only team to defend the Danish colours in Europe this season. In the second round of the CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup the winners of the Danish ‘double’ face the Norwegian side BK TROMSØ and head coach Peter Borglund has a good feeling about his team’s credentials to proceed to the next round.
“I believe we have a good chance to beat BK TROMSØ,” says Peter Borglund and continues: “Even though, we have to travel quite far and the surroundings are totally different from home, so it will be harder to win. But we have tried to be in the best possible shape and plan these matches so we are as ready as we can be,” he says.
”From what I have seen of BK TROMSØ, we have good chances of qualifying for the next round over two matches,” he continues.
The first round will be played in Norway on November 11, and the return match will then follow in Denmark on November 17.
The overall winner of the matches will face the loser of the battle between Galatasaray ISTANBUL from Turkey and Volei Municipal ZALAU of Romania from the Round of 32 of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men.
