Dinamo MOSCOW determined to fight back after Italian setback
2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Women
Moscow, Russia, March 10, 2015. The fans of Dinamo MOSCOW could not imagine that their heroines would lose in three sets their away match with Italy’s Unendo Yamamay BUSTO ARSIZIO on schedule for the Playoffs 6 of the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women. On Thursday the Muscovites will have to win the return game in Russia’s capital in three or four sets to go for the golden set that would then determine the side moving on to the Final Four which is due to take place on April 4-5 in Szczecin, Poland.
“There are days where nothing seems to go the right way and one of these days was last week when we played the Italians,” says the setter of Dinamo MOSCOW, Ekaterina Kosianenko. “There are no excuses for us and for the coach as well. We simply played very bad. We are preparing for the re-match and I am confident that we can play a lot better than we did in Italy.”
“I think we should be playing really aggressive,” she continues, “in order to win by 3:0 or 3:1 and go for the golden set. However, I think we should not focus too much on the score and on the sets. We simply have to play our best. Of course I really want to make the Final Four and I will be giving everything I can to achieve in order this goal,” Kosianenko concludes.
