Azeryol sound confident before extending rivalry with Unendo Yamamay
2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women
Baku, Azerbaijan, February 9, 2015. Azeryol BAKU have completed their preparations for the home match coming up on Wednesday and scheduled for the Playoffs 12 of the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women. The Azeri team will be playing Italy’s Unendo Yamamay BUSTO ARSIZIO in a remake of the matches from last year’s group phase and also from two years ago when Azeryol still played under their former denomination of Azerrail BAKU.
Last year Azeryol got the upper hand in their clashes with the Italians who failed to make it through the League Round of Europe’s elite competition. “We know their strength,” says Azeryol team captain Oksana Kurt-Parkhomenko. “Unendo Yamamay have a great roster and they have been very consistent in the results they have achieved over the course of the last few years. However, we want to make it to the next stage of the competition and I am confident that we can make this happen.”
