PGE Skra look for perfect score by sealing sixth straight win in Pool F
2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men
Belchatow, Poland, January 26, 2015. PGE Skra BELCHATOW are looking for the perfect record in Pool F of the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men. The Polish champions have already swept all the five matches played so far without losing any point and hope to extend their streak also to their last game coming up on Tuesday night.
Jihostroj CESKE BUDEJOVICE is the team to challenge the Polish powerhouse on Tuesday. The Czech side managed to win one set in the previous clash with Skra and this set turned out to be a half of those dropped by BELCHATOW in the competition so far. However Jan Svoboda’s team arrive in Belchatow a week after winning their first match in the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men. Another good performance may push the Czech team to the third place in Pool F.
“We hope we will keep the perfect score, however we are not expecting an easy match. There are no such matches in this competition,” states head coach Miguel Angel Falasca. His team is full of confidence after winning six straight league matches without dropping a point.
“This streak has rocketed us to the top position in the Polish PlusLiga and boosted our self-confidence. We are back on the right track and do not want to spoil it on Tuesday,” says Fabio Storti, Miguel Falasca’s assistant. “In front of our great fans in Belchatow we just cannot underperform,” adds the Italian expert.
