SCHWERINER SC one step away from Challenge Cup quarter-finals

Schwerin, Germany, January 19, 2015. Germany’s SCHWERINER SC will be hosting Belgium’s Asterix KIELDRECHT on Tuesday for the return match on schedule in the 8th final of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Women. After cruising to a 3:0 victory last week in Belgium, the Germans stand a very good chance to progress to the next round of the competition. However, if Asterix seize the night by 3:0 or 3:1, a golden set would have to be played.
Even though the hosts of SCHWERINER SC are the pre-favourites for tomorrow’s match, Asterix KIELDRECHT – Belgium’s multiple champions – are travelling to Germany to avenge their home defeat. Therefore head coach Felix Koslowski has already asked his players to remain focused and approach the match with the right attitude. The hosts rely also on the support of their fans to seize the night and make the next round where they would play the winners of the fixture starring Alterno APELDOORN of the Netherlands and Italy’s Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA.
