SCHWERINER SC vie for home success in return match with VC OUDEGEM
2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Women
Schwerin, Germany, November 26, 2014. Germany’s SCHWERINER SC will be playing on Wednesday their second match with Belgium’s VC OUDEGEM as they vie for a spot in the 16th final of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Women.
Two weeks ago head coach Felix Koslowski steered his team to a 3:1 away victory and with a home win, SCHWERINER SC would not only be promoted to the next round but even by-pass it since Ukraine’s Severodonchanka SEVERODONETSK has withdrawn from this year’s European Cups due to the political crisis ongoing in the region.
However, if VC OUDEGEM seize the night by 3:0 or 3:1, a golden set will be played in Schwerin to determine the eventual winners of this clash.
Even though the hosts of SCHWERINER SC are the pre-favourites going into this return match, VC OUDEGEM – a team that has been playing in Belgium’s first division for a number of years already – will try to cause a sensation. Coach Koslowski expects therefore his players to remain focused from the start through to the end of the match but, at the same time, sounds quite optimistic about his team’s chances to claim a second victory over VC OUDEGEM.
