Tauron MKS libero Krystyna Strasz hopes her predictions for final series were fully correct
News from the clubs
Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland, April 27, 2013. After scoring two home wins in the final series, Tauron MKS DABROWA GORNICZA is very close to its first Championship title in Poland’s national league. Libero Krystyna Strasz has showed her great skills in defense and helped pretty much her side get the right edge in the series with last year’s champions Atom Trefl SOPOT.
“This past Monday we started out the game very good but then everything got more complicated and we lost the next set. We probably thought we would win very easy but we found back our focus and could bring it home for our second victory” Strasz says. These two “easy” wins came as a little surprise even for the players of Tauron MKS. “Honestly I thought that these matches would have been more demanding. We were surprised especially in the first game where we won in three sets. I guess our opponents were still tired after the long series with MUSZYNA in the semis” she adds. This weekend match three and the eventual fourth clash will follow in Sopot and Strasz hopes her side will seize the day there. “I really hope that we’ll have to play only one game in Sopot. We have to stay concentrated and determined. Before the start of the series I said that we would win three matches in a row with the score of 3:0, 3:1 and 3:2. My predictions for the first two games were correct, so let’s wait and see what happens on Sunday” she says with a bright smile.
