After away win Eczacibasi needs another positive result to make it to Playoffs 6

Istanbul, Turkey, January 21, 2013. After claiming the first match a few days ago with the score of 3:1, Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL of Turkey will play once more AsystelCarnaghi VILLA CORTESE of Italy this Thursday with a valuable spot in the Playoffs 6 of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League at stake.
“After that away win in Italy Eczacibasi got the right edge for the return game. However, since the golden set rule is applied, this away win does not have any special meaning” says head coach Lorenzo Micelli. “We know that VILLA CORTESE is a strong team and they can cause a surprise. If we want to advance to the next round, we need to score another win. We have to forget the first match in Italy and be totally focused on claiming the home victory we still need” he adds.
“This is our last step before making it to the Playoffs 6” stresses libero Gulden Kayalar. “We know the strength and quality of our opponent, so this means we have to stay focused and determined to win. We do believe in ourselves and I think we can make it” she concludes.
