Stiinta BACAU hopes to turn things around after away defeat in France
2013 CEV Volleyball Cup - Women
Bacau, Romania, December 10, 2012. In order to make it to the Challenge Round of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Cup – Women, Romania’s Stiinta BACAU will have to reverse the outcome of the previous 1/4 final match with SES CALAIS of France and claim also the additional golden set.
The local heroines do hope the support of the home crowd will help them achieve that goal. Back from France a press conference was organized in Bacau to discuss the upcoming match. Head coach Florin Grapa said: “We expect a very tough match against a strong team that won the first game with ease. We want to take our revenge and demonstrate our value”.
Team captain Georgiana Fales added: “I remain confident as we shall focus exclusively on this game and forget the mistakes we made last week in France. If we play our best, I believe that we can win”.
