RC CANNES joins top tournament in Basel

Cannes, France, December 25, 2011. After scoring an away win in Germany by edging the home heroines of SCHWERINER SC in straight sets, RC CANNES backed up its leadership in Pool A of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women. After enjoying a very short rest for Christmas, France’s national champions will join the Top Volley International Tournament taking place in Basel (Switzerland) through December 27-29.
RC CANNES will be playing there some of the best teams in the world, including Volero ZÜRICH, Rabita BAKU and Unilever RIO DE JANEIRO. This tournament will be a very good practice for the remainder of the League Round in Europe’s most elitist competition.
